This app works, it just isn't very good. The box is capable of weighing your cat. But you can't assign cat names to the weights. Because it doesn't do this, you can't look at the use data for a single cat. And it only shows use data for 1 week, which isn't very useful for long term monitoring for cats with health conditions. The meowant airpet app lets you see use data for a whole year! Petsafe is a huge company, with good products, & a trusted reputation. They should be able to get a better app

Terrible app! Connected for about 2 weeks and stopped connecting. I've gone through their horrible reset & repeat instructions too many times only to receive an error connecting EVERY SINGLE TIME I TRY! Hardware is good, only had it for 4 months so I can't speak to longevity. Works well, though I wish it held more litter so I didn't have to change the bag once a week for just 1 cat. But, you get what you pay for. Given another opportunity I would have paid extra for the more reliable company.

I'm being generous with 1 star, imho. It does the bare minimum, lacking a lot of functionality, notifications don't work and on top of that, PetSafe demands to be connected 24/7 to Bluetooth and access to your location. It's bizarrely invasive for a cat toilet, and I'm far too aware of PetSafe's dubious reputation of screwing over their customers that it truly cannot be chanced. They are up to something stinky for sure.
